Pakistan: Deadly bomb blast targets Lahore’s shopping district

No less than two individuals answered to have been killed and 26 harmed in the episode.

Islamabad, Pakistan - At least two individuals have been killed and handfuls more injured after a blast in a bustling shopping region in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore, police say. The blast occurred in the Lohari Gate region, a thickly stuffed area comprising of little shops pressed into thin bungling roads, on Thursday evening, police representative Nayab Haider told.

"The passings of two individuals are affirmed," he said, adding that four of the injured were in basic condition. Medical clinic authorities at Lahore's Mayo clinic, where the injured were being dealt with, affirmed the loss of life and said something like 26 individuals had been injured in the impact.
